Hey all. This is a list I was throwing together, and I was wondering some general thoughts from the dakka community.
Needless to say, you take the warlord from the Tetrad to give the trait to the entire formation.

This list does not really work for competitive play. It's neat in style, but not in substance.

I played the Tetrad and it is awesome! But with no greater rewards to help them stay alive you are risking it.

I played in a tournament with 4 rounds and only lost 2 princes. Both of the ones I lost I didn't roll good for thier rewards, if you get FNP or +1 Wound they are unstoppable pretty much.

I would say try to find a way to at least put 1 in for each. Can you trim 80 points?

How were you using your princes? Were you just rushing the other player?

I'm also not sure if you can ally in a knight. I think he has to be a LoW, which you would need a CaD to unlock.

You can't just ally a Chaos Knight, They are only options as LoW for CD/CSM/KDK. They don't have access to the IK detachments that let you take a single knight

To put it simple, tetrad runs into a miriad of problems. Theyre extremely expensive to field outside of flying circus lists due to low tax requirements. Aside from the cool abilities they have, they are still subjective to getting gibbed by a lot of what is out there. Not only that, they take away a lot of Obsec units youre able to take as well as access to special HQ units like belakor, Dthirsters and, of course, Fatey.

I usually gravitate towards Khorne, but typically Greater Demons are better than Demon Princes these days because of native T6 immunity to Instant Death, unless you use the Black Legion Relic (or is it Crimson Slaughter)...

The Tetrad fixes that problem by giving each of the Princes a +1 T bonus, but the second problem is that with 7th edition nerfing Smash, alot of them have a hard time with only being base S6.

Soul Grinders are money thought!

There was a lot of talk about these ideas in this thread.

The core idea was to take Belakor to finish up the monster mash. He could give the rest of your princes shourded so you could walk up and beat things down.

Some of the weapons you can give your princes help a lot to deal with armor. The 'boomstick' from tzeentch gives +2 strength, when added to the formation +1 strength, it gives you a STR 9 prince. That will do a number of a maulerfiend.

As mentioned in the other thread, there are some big weaknesses in the list -- and some horribad matchups.
Still -- I enjoy the thought of a monster mash and am playing with list ideas.
