Can I please get some feedback on how these guys are armed? I'm curious about the funny bolter, the various missile launchers and the strange flamer(?) Also does anyone know the chapter of the yellow and green guys? Thanks very much.

The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer

Top picture: The four to the left have missile launchers. The middle left one is simply an an old model. The one to the right has a sniper rifle on his back, but it is not clear why as only scouts can take sniper rifles.

Bottom picture: The two to the left have multimeltas, the middle one of which lacks a barrel component. The one to the right is a standard bolter marine who has half a Kroot rifle attached to his gun for reasons beyond me.

The first pic shows four different missile launchers and the last guy has what looks like a plastic SM Scout sniper rifle on his back. The second pic has two multimeltas (the grey one lacking a piece) and the last guy's bolter seems to have an extra barrel tacked on - maybe from an Ork big shoota.

My guess would be that they are angels of redemption

They could also be Mantis Warriors or just someone painting a marine half green and half yellow.

The design of the missile launcher has evolved over the years.
The 2nd one from the left is an earlier design than the others. The other three are the same, but the 1st one from the left has a missile poking out the end.

With the missile launchers, the sprue came with a spare missile. It looks like the modeler has glued the missile into the barrel of the missile launcher on the far left. The launcher second from the left appears to be a 2nd ed plastic version. The third from the left looks to be the newest missile launcher due to the new backpack with the integrated spare missiles and loading arm.

It's also worth noting that the multimelta on the left appears to be a vehicle mounted one (probably from a land speeder) glued onto a normal marine, rather than a devastator multimelta like the second one.

Why does that marine have s kroot gun welded onto his bolter? I've a feeling that's considered heresy.

Thanks - this is exactly what I wanted to know.

They're different. The unpainted one is the latest with the backpack. The barrel length is slightly different for 3 of them. I was curious about which came out when, and why. I'm going to put them all in the same squad anyway! Same but different = cool talking point
