So I've been picking up Infinity minis here and there over time, I don't really have an "army" to speak of. Although yesterday's MM clearance sale might have pushed me into a enough to have a couple build-able lists.

So I'm going to dive in and get the USAriadna Army Pack Box. I would like to keep the army with the same theme/feel going forward.

So what other Ariadna stuff should I get? There doesn't seem to be too much in the way of "U.S." stuff yet.

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!

USAriadna is the newest army.
They are in the same place Aleph was when Human Sphere came out, and where Tohaa were when Paradiso was released.

There'll be some catchup stuff done for them and the new combine onyx force coming (if those prior armies are any indication).

A Dozer with Traktor Mul Control(the model which looks like "Ghost" from Modern Warfare) and a box of Traktor Muls is a good pairing with the amount of Forward Observers you can throw down in USARF.

Tacktor MULs are definitely a good buy. Uragan Missile Launchers are really good. Powerful artillery support and with Total Reaction they are a nasty surprise for anything sneaking around the backfield.

I would recommend picking up a 2nd starter pack(or the limited edition boxed set if you can. That will get you a Devil Dog and a Maverick too) and 2 sets of the special weapons pack as well.

Then look at getting Hardcases and Airborne rangers. Hardcases in particular are good at covering the midfield, especially if you also have Foxtrots. With a Foxtrot and a Hardcase you put out 3 camo markers between them. Airborne are a sneaky way to get a specialist up the field, and they're nasty in combat too.

Desperados look like a good potential unit too, but I haven't had enough experience with them yet.

I always run a link team as well. My current preference is 3 Paramedic grunts, HMG grunt, and a Sniper grunt, but a Minuteman link has potential too(though you'd need to buy a third starter box as thats the only way to get minutemen)

Run your minutemen as the AP rifle/X-visor version. An AP Shock ammo rifle that reduces range band modifiers by 3 is a decent pocket sniper and backfield babysitter. And they can go rambo if needed.

I've been looking over the rest of the Ariadna line to see what else can be included. Seems I already have another Foxtrot and a 112 from the older stuff.

When you say "2 sets of the special weapons pack", what is that in reference too? I don't find anything with that name.

It's a box of Grunts that comes with several of their special weapon options that you can't get otherwise At least that's my guess

OK, so this is kind of what I'm looking at then:

Boxed Army:
- 3 USAriadna Grunts
- 1 Marauder
- 1 Minuteman
- 1 Foxtrot Ranger
Devil Dogs Teams, 2nd Assault Bat. of the USAMC
- 1 Devil Dog
- 1 K-9 Antipode
- 1 Maverick and motorbike.

I will add to that with:
- 1 Van Zant
- 1 Hardcase
- 1 Foxtrot w/GL
- 1 Foxtrot w/Sniper
- 1 Dozer w/Mul
- 1 112 Doc
- 1 Tankhunter w/HMG
- 4 Grunts w/ Support Weapons

I'm back and forth on the Traktors since I would need to get 2 boxes to have 2 Uragans.

I also noticed there's another Minuteman mini, but he's older and doesn't look like the new one. I suppose he could be a Grunt from his looks.

She's older and is actually supposed to be discontinued as of now.

Looks good. Though the Tank Hunter isn't actually available to the USA sectorial. Its for the generic Ariadna list. But it's not a bad stand in for a Minuteman with HMG.
