Thrall Wizard of Tzeentch

So part of Daemon of Tzeentch says that you get +3 Leadership when casting Psychic Powers. I understand that this comes from 6th edition, so how does it work in 7th? Should we replace it as Daemons of Tzeentch gain +3 Leadership during the Psychic Phase? Or is there another way that is more generally accepted?

It doesn't do anything during 7th edition. Your local group might play it differently but that's a house rule.

It used to be a way to make them good/the best at casting powers without giving them a high base leadership.
Now the god of magic is overshadowed by farseers and librarian conclaves and nothing was truly given to replace our lost skill in the latest update, save a warlord trait and a relic.

Your opponent *might* like you use the +3LD for any Perils tests, however this would be a house rule. I would let you do this, as otherwise the rule has no effect.

RAW in the +3LD is for taking Psychic Tests, which now do not use LD in 7th ed, but instead uses Warp Charge. A Perils test is something different.
But if someone were to read the rule with no knowledge of how 6th ed worked, the logical conclusion is that the +3LD is meant for the Perils test. Hence why I have no issue with anyone doing so.

Admitting ignorance in this area, it is not something I refer to, aren't Perils Tests part of the whole casting process, though?

That is why it is the logical conclusion to just use the rule for Perils.
My point was that you get +3LD for taking a Psychic test, not during the whole Psychic phase. Psychic tests are taken with WC, not LD

Daemon of Tzeentch gives +3 LD while manifesting psyhic powers, not just for the psychic test. The rulebook is quite clear that perils happens during the manifestation of a psychic power so its completely RAW that Daemon of Tzeetnch has +3 LD for Perils.

Fair enough. I guess I was still hooked on the 6th ed rules. This makes my Horrors, Herald and LoC a bit better.

Thanks, this is as I thought. It occurs for the whole casting process and thereby helps with Perils.
