I have the following troops in my Chaos Warband for a Path to Glory Campaign:

Mighty Lord of Khorne (general, causes fear -1 leadership to enemy units in 3")
Skull Grinder
Slaughter Priest
Exalted Death Dealer
Bloodsecrator
1 Khorgorath
10 Blood Warriors
20 Blood Reavers

I'm curious as to what sort of tactics you would recommend, and what scenario recommendations you have for this chaos warband. I'm not looking for army list recommendations on what to add or remove.

My current tactics are to setup the bloodsecrator and the other heroes in the middle, with the blood reavers on one side and the blood warriors on the other side. If cover is available, the heroes get first choice on the cover, and the blood warriors get second choice. Since the blood reavers don't benefit from cover, they are placed in the open.

All of my troops are reasonably slow (stationary for blood secrator, 5" for most except 6" for Blood Reavers, SlaughterPriest, and Khorgorath).

I'm facing other chaos warbands, so both sides are interested in getting in melee, and there is very little ranged. Some armies are faster than mine (monsters, cavalry, flyers).

The rewards of Chaos Scenario has four altars in the four corners. How would you handle this battle plan with my warband? Victory requires holding three altars. I could see placing the Blood Secrator and the Blood Reavers on one altar, placing the slaughter priest on a second altar, and then sending the rest of my army on offense, or leaving the rest of my army on defense and let the other chaos warband go on offense. My inclination is to stay on defense since my army is slower.

Also, what about the Monolith Scenario? My relatively slow army should be fine on defense, but what if I'm on offense trying to topple another Chaos Champion's monolith? My fastest unit (relatively speaking) is the blood reavers, so I suppose I would have to try and hurtle them as fast as possible towards the monolith.

Thanks in advance for your input.
