Here's an odd mini that I got to paint up. While he is a Monsterpocalypse mini, he really got painted for our Iron Kingdoms RPG.
We had an eccentric mechanic who got to build her own warjack. I don't remember what rules the 'jack used, but it was extremely important that it look sort of like a dinosaur (or dragon spawn).
Anyway, here it is:

Nice mini and nice paint job! Really reminds me of Mecha Godzilla. Really cool figure.

Holy crap, that's amazing! Your paintjob really makes the model pop, it looks very dramatic.

Thanks.
The mecha godzilla look to the sculpt was clearly intentional (he's from Monsterpocalypse after all).

Buttons Should Be Brass, Not Gold!

Did you use blue or green in the gold parts? My first instinct would have been to go towards gold-brown, but your color choice gives it a far superior unifying look.

I can't remember what color recipe I used on him, but that sounds like me. I tend to shade gold with turquoise (blue with a hint of green).
It helps with the contrast (blue is the opposite of orange, which is what most of your gold brown color is on the wheel). Also, if you take it really far, it looks like verdegris.
