Overview
I faced a double stormsurge list this past weekend, and I can tell you that is a horrible matchup, just because of the stomps. In my game the stormsurges stomped 3 princes dead.
In this game the stormsurges did most of the work as well. There was just not much he could do about it.
During the game, Reece said that warp spiders were dominating the meta. The Tetrad is a nice counter-spider build, as warp spiders wound on a 6 against them.

Playstyle
I tried one game with a similar build and attitude, swooping around casting powers and found it not as good as the 'beat face' approach. Just rushing forward and smashing the face of anything that even looks remotely scary works wonders. Part of what makes the daemon princes so dangerous is their statline, and if they are swooping through the air the entire game, that statline is not getting used.

I also found that the daemon princes get much better if you throw two greater rewards on them. It's worth sacrificing other elements of your army just to get those rewards in. A single 4+ FNP doubles the durability (save for stomps and D). +1 wounds and IWND are also amazing. Rerolling invulns is huge, etc...

What Could The Daemons Do?
I've put a lot of thought into this matchup, and the best solution I could think of it just psychic shrieking the stormsurges and markerlights down.

Mistakes Made
Around minute 25, there were a few minor mistakes made by the daemon player. Tetrad daemons are STR 7 when all 3 are in play, not STR 6. He would have been wounding on 3s.
It would not have made any real difference, unless he managed to get some 6's on this D swing.
He also could have rerolled any 1's to hit due to the tetrad abilities, so unless all his failed 'to hit' rolls were 2s, he should have scored a few more.
