Hi guys,

I noticed in the SM Codex that in the Gladius Strike Force, as part of a Battle Demi Company, a captain / chaplain can be subbed for Lysander (pg 112, small text at bottom of page).
However, on page 174, where the battle company is detailed, the same text stating the captain/chaplain substitutes does not include Lysander.

Where do we stand on this?
Would you play it that Lysander is ok in a Gladius's Demi Company but not in a stand alone demi company?
Would you have a problem playing against a Demi Company (without gladius) that included Lysander?

I tend to read rues that leave out details later not as direct contradictions. So here it says he can, but then doesn't say it again when it should. It doesn't say you can't, so I'd go with the earlier statement and use him.

I also don't think anyone would mind you using him, he's not got cheese coming out of his ears and he's a fun character. So, go for it.

You can take him in a Battle Demi Company that is part of a Gladius Strike Force but not in a Battle Demi Company that is not part of a Gladius Strike Force.
