Hello,

Thx to everyone who looks over my list and gives me some feedback.

I wrote this list with the background to get some nice formation bonuses and to include the new suits (SS and GK).

First: The standard Firewarriors are a bit poor. Only the minimum of 3x 5 Striker. But there weren't any points left.

i like it, its a good all around list with standard tau hold a position and use the range of your HYMP to pump out some death and the Deep striking melta suites to take out hard targets. the drone network is useful to pump out your markers but it lacks in to hit and it might not give you enough of a boost. also, as you said, your heavy broadside dependence means that a player that uses some drop pods or deep strike to take them out in an Alpha strike is in your lines with little to worry about coming back at him untill you bring in your suites instead of using them offensively. id say throw some melta on your stealth teams and on that piranha, that will give you some threat early on and make it hard for them to focus your base of fire. I always advocate for a 15 man kroot sniper squad, infiltrate into a good fire position on a MC or large squad and roll for them rends, also another thing to use marker lights on to make WAAYyy more effective.

I've put out some candys like the Onager from my commander and split the Broadsides in two Teams, but now without the Target Locks.

Therefore the Ghosts and the Piranha have a Fusionblaster and my SS has now the Pulse Driver Cannon for a solid S10 shot. Is that better or should I stay with the cheaper gun?

Points to bring a squad of Kroot carnivores it seems I can't afford.

In my view you are not utilizing the full potential of the Hunter Contingent i.e. sharing of buffs from the buffmander and\or other units via Coordinated Firepower.

I would change your commander loadout to C&CN, MSSS, PenChip, Iridium.
You can either use the Buffmander for buffing as is the normal way or make him your MarkerLight commander i.e. a Mark'o and take a lone Crisis Shas'vre and put the SigSystems on him, but the shas'vre will be more vulnerable so thats a downside. But you get BS5 Markerlights with the Commander and can probably drop the Drone Net and use the points somewhere else. See what fits your style.

Broadsides are ok but are easily replaced nowadays due to lack of mobility, exchange them for a second Stormsurge.
OSC is nice so you should max the Ghostkeels with Raker\fusion.
Add Target Locks to any relevant units to take advantage of Coordinated Firepower.

The Drone net is very nice but might be overcosted when going Hunter Contingent due to sharing of markerlights, but experiment and see what you like. The OSC is basically self sufficient so will not need any big amount of ML.

Thx for the advice.

I do not share your point of view about combined fire from the hunter contingent. I'm not sharing Buffs etc. only Markerlights. So maxing out a Kingfisher has no need for me. Unfortunately I do not have a second Stormsurge. Maybe a second Riptide would be better?

Ghostkeel is limited too. There's no other Keel atm.

What I have is more Broadsides, more Krisis and Riptides, some fancy FW stuff and tanks and infantry. But in a more competitive environment I think there is no room for Hammerheads or Fire Warriors.

So today I have a match against GK. Any advices for me? Should I drop even the OSC? I think there will be some Knights and heavy infantry.
