I saw some stuff about a skyhammer annihilation formation but don't see where to download or buy it, is it still viabale and or legal in tournament play?

You can't legally download it and you can not buy it anymore. It was a limited time bundle with a rather ridiculous price tag. It depends on the tournament organizer if a printout or scan of the Datasheet, which can be found online, is legal or if you MUST have one of the couple hundred official copies.

It's still a powerful Alpha Strike, but it's not a sure winner. It limits late game quite a bit and there are plenty of armies and lists that can weather the storm.

thanks, well if its not universally legal then I probably wouldn't bother but if everyone allows it then its nice to have the option to use it.

I've never heard of it being banned from a tournament as long as they allow formations. It's not really that good in tournament play. A GSF will crap all over it. As well as any player that knows how to deploy against it.

I was under the impression that the data sheet was supplied as a PDf to people that bought the bundle and there were no official physical copies.
