He the weapon looks great and no one uses it. Kinda obvious the model would be 100 points and it is only short ranged.
But suppose you would really want to use it or perhaps a whole unit of them what would be the best way to field and use them ?

Considering Kustom Mega Kannons do the same thing but cheaper and better it's hard to justify ever bringing the weapon. If I wanted to run tellyport blasta it would be with a unit like Flash Gitz or something (in a battlewagon) that would fire at targets that tend to have high armor and could benefit from the 2+ armor tanking wounds.

Hmmm it's a difficult question. The weapon has a decent enough profile (if a bit short ranged) and looks awesome but suffers from being an overcosted upgrade on the already expensive mega armour. It would seem to go quite nicely with Flash Gitz but personally I wouldn't want to make a unit of Gitz Slow and Purposeful because they have decent overwatch.

One trick could be to use it on a Big Mek from the Ghazghkull supplement so he can also take the Mega Force Field and have him with some Mega Nobz. Alternatively, as its a decent anti-TEQ/MC/vehicle weapon have him with a unit like Tankbustas or slugga Boyz. If you try him out I'd love to hear the results!
