Grimm Burloksson and the unit of Quarrellers are setup in the tower in the middle of the battlefield. The Knights of the Realm and the Peasant bowmen were setup facing them. The remainder of the dwarves and the Green Knight were off map during setup.
Turn 1: Dwarven player decides to move first. Grimm uses his ability to increase the range of the Quarrellers. The other dwarves move onto the board. Organ gun is out of range to shoot. Quarrellers and Grimm shoot at the Peasant Bowmen, dropping the unit to 20.
On the Bretonnians turn, the Green Knight arrives, 9" away from the Organ Gun. The Bretonnian General uses the special scenario command ability to taunt the Quarellers out of the tower. The peasant bowmen launch their once-a-battle arrow storm at the Quarrellers. The Knights of the Realm and the Bowmen advance. The Green Knight rolls a 9 for charging the Organ Gun. The Green Knight slays the Organ Gun crew in melee combat, but takes some wounds from the Ironbreakers.
Turn 2: The clan warriors march towards the tower while the Ironbreakers fight the Green Knight. The quarrelers and Grimm Burloksson fight the peasant bowmen and the Knights of the Realm outside the tower. The Green Knight slays the Ironbreakers. The Clan warriors with double-handed weapons charge into battle against the Knights of the Realm and the peasant bowmen. The Clan Warriors with shields fight the Green Knight.
Turn 3: The Green Knight falls in battle against the Clan Warriors with shields. The peasant bowmen are slain as are the quarrelers and Grimm Burloksson, and the Clan warriors with double-handed weapons.
Turn 4: The Green Knight returns. The Knights of the Realm slay the Clan warriors. The Tower has been claimed by the Bretonnians.
Game ends at the end of turn as the last dwarf is slain. We also hit the turn limit (rolled for end of game).
I expected the crossbowmen and organ gun to slaughter the Knights of the Realm. Instead, the dwarf army focused on the peasant archers and the Green Knight, and the Knights of the Realm ended the game nearly intact (lost 3? Knights of the Realm). I was lucky with the Green Knight showing up on turn 1 and being able to charge the organ gun with a charge roll of 9. I could just have easily had the Green Knight show up on turn 2 or 3, and not been able to charge until a subsequent turn.
