Hello there all you boys and girls !
As a new member i wont beat around the bush and get right to it!
I am pretty new to WH40K and all the fluff,but... i found a paper model of the valkyrie.So... i tried my best to do something with it,and... here it is,as of today!

Its fully made of paper, except some details like pipes and the gun and... just some bits and odds and little details , but 98% of the darn thing is made of paper...

What i did is basically print two models, built the first as normal and with the second print i did the "armor" plating and such... it was some good hours of hard work, pain and patience,but... so far so good.
Then i just put a layer of base paint on the thing and this is what i came up with...

Right now i have no idea what paint i will give it,buuuut... i am free for some ideas guys,so if you have some good ideas or something... post it here.
Its my first try at papercraft and i am pretty happy with the result.

Sorry for the gakky pictures,my good ol phone wont make better ones at this light... it it will do i hope

Tell me what you think, thanks !

That is incredibly impressive indeed. I'd love to see it complete.

As a side note; what sort of card is that made from? And will it take paint as smoothly as plastic?

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

I used some harder painting paper,i have no idea what specific one,its just a bit more heavy and semi-glossy. And as of now,i takes paint as good as plastic, only masking some parts with masking tape would be maybe tricky... the only big thing about paper is that you need to be really carefull because you cant just use sandpaper and grind down excess glue or whatever... its tricky, but it gets the job done, and its cheap. Maybe later i will try something else, like a Rhino or something. I dont know yet
