I really like Leman Russ models, so I'm debating if in the near futur wether to buy more leman russes. The Eradicator seems like a neat anti-infantry variant and it's only 120pts base cost. Dirt cheap for such a tanky tank.

It's a str 6, ap4 ignore cover large blast. Seems promising. Wyvern's are the ignore cover favorites, but it's model is meh. How does the eradicator compare to the capabilities of a wyvern?

Random question :Is it easy to magnetize so I could switch between battle cannon and eradicator canon?

The eradicator is good for its points, the only issue it has compared to the wyvern is that it needs LoS to hit its target and doesn't do quite as well against heavy infantry since the wyvern has shred+more shots with twin-linked.

However it is a solid battle tank that can properly utilize the heavy rule it has, it is great against most xenos armies like Orks, nids and even Tau or Necrons since you can decimate marker drone or Pathfinder squads and take away all the saves except for reanimation protocols for Warrior blobs.

Eradicator is solid. As was mentioned it competes with the Wyvern, but it's so frakkin' cheap that it does its job well. I generally keep mine stock to keep the price down.

Its a solid anti troop and anti coversave loving tank.

Very nice for getting those damn nurgle troops out of cover and DE all the army and mandrakes especially.

Take that and heavy bolters for all the anti troop need.

It is essentially a Hellhound with more armour, a better range and cheaper. I use one for hunting enemy light infantry such as Scouts.
