Got an issue that can use a few more sets of eyes on it, you see I'm going to a tourney that has some vintage stipulations such as:

-1 Detachment, CAD only

-1 LOW allowed (400 points or less)

-Only troops score (dedicated troop transports never score)

-No allies

Added onto this I also have to bring a friendly list*... for Eldar... OK, I've decided to bring ranger spam.


The idea that I can infiltrate almost all of my army sees pretty fun and perhaps the precision shot/ AP2 on 6's rules may lead to some happy surprises whilst Wraithblades look cool and make the list even friendlier.
On the opposite side of things, 2 Wave serpents, Wraithguard with D cannons and a couple of the meanest psykers should give the list some bite.

So the plan is for the psykers to GoI the Wraithblades and add in Sanctuary and Hammerhand buffs whilst the Wraithguard scout up in Wave Serpents for a mean alpha strike and the Rangers sit in cover all day sipping lemonade

*This is not a powerful list and lacks in mobility but I'm expecting Deathwing, foot slogging battle companies, Tyrant legion type lists so I cannot go overboard, even when the urge to bring Wraithknight/Scatterspam/Hornet Nests is soo tempting the prospect the having a metal dreadnought+sock embedded in the back of my skull not appealing.
