I have an extremely irritating problem with a Word document. A line has appeared at the bottom of the second last page (its not in the footer) that will move in relation to the text and if I push it to a new page the line will replicate itself, I can't select the line itself. I have tried copy/pasting to a new document but the damn line was pasted as well. I have no idea how it got there or how to get rid of it. This is due in tomorrow so some speedy help would be greatly appreciated...

Hmmmm... haven't ran into that before...

Try opening it in WordPAD and see if that line is still there and selectable...

I opened it in Word pad, copy and pasted the text into a new Word document and that seems to have fixed it. Thanks.

It's possible you'd somehow added a bottom border to the paragraph.
