Ace work, man. I like how most of the colours used are muted. Very efficacious. (I know, I could have said effective)

This is especially awesome as a friend and I have been running the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster campaign. Squad markings would make it easier to see at a glance which TIEs are in which squadrons!

Thanks guys.

Mathieu Raymond: yeah I used the darkest of all colours from the GW range. I thought they looked more worn etc that way

Streamdragon: I have the idea to do a big 3000pt game with mates of mine and I, along with you, thought that markings would make it easier to distinguish my squads.

So i tried my hand at doing a cloaking effect. not exactly happy with how it turned out but it's the first time trying it.

On the cloaking effects I've seen, adding a few white dots to the cloaked side helps give it a "blended in with the star field" effect, as does drawing out the blue towards the leading "still cloaking" edge.

It never ends well

i was thinking of doing a star field but thought it was too much and opted for a black object in space. about your blue suggestion, the photo isn't clear but there is a blue edge highlight.

Not half bad at all, really. I like it.

i think the next one the arcs will come off closer to the edge. so more solid section towards the cockpit and have trailing edges at the ends.
