Subject: The Doom of Mymeara (Narrative Batrep series 3)
I rooted out IA11 - The Doom of Mymeara and decided to do something similar. Hope you enjoy!
The book focuses on Eldar war hosts launching an attack on the ice world Betalis III and their imperial adversaries, consisting of several Imperial Guard regiments under Myndoras Odon, Bran Redmaw's company of Space Wolves and Titans from the Legio Gryphonicus.
The campaign itself has 5 missions overall including one Apocalypse game. The campaign is spit into 2 halves with games 1-3 from the first half giving bonuses to the final 2 games but more of that anon.
Mission 1: Encounter at Relay Station 849/X.
Objectives: The side with the most scoring units in the Imperial Deployment zone is the winner. No other conditions apply.
Game length: 4 turns
IG Psychic powers: N/A
Eldar Psychic powers: N/A
IG Warlord trait: Warlord and unit can reroll 1s in shooting.
Eldar Warlord trait: Warlord and unit can reroll 1s in hth.
Mission special rules: Night fight, reserves, 4 turn game with possible 5th.
Deployment: The Imperial forces can choose a table quarter at the start of the game and deploy 6 aegis lines, 2 AA batteries and a bunker there. This then becomes their deployment zone. The Eldar deploy in the opposite quarter of the table.
IG forces (1000 points and only 2 units of type “Tank” allowed):
Deployment: The IG chose the table side with one of the hills for better LoS and setup their defence line there.
