I came late to the party (about a month ago) so I am still working through alot of the Taken King, etc....but...sounds interesting what they have planned!

I got my baby warlock from light level 288 to 300 in the first day. The progress on my hunter has been a little slower because I was already over light level 300 but I'm making progress.

What's it like now? I came back for TKK and enjoyed it for awhile but as a casual without interest in 6-hour raids or trying to make groups out of game with preset times and time allocations for higher content I eventually hit the grindwall and lost interest again.
As I understand it you can get to light cap now without doing raids. There is no random upgrading anymore so when you infuse an item it goes straight to the light level of the infused item. Doubling Reputation gains is nice but in the end there is still grinding for it, just not as bad as before.
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
Is it live ? I don't seem to have an update. There's nothing in notifications and I started the game up as normal without any updating. What am I missing?

Yeah, that's the best part. I don't have many friends that play Destiny on Xbox One so raiding isn't really an option (I also don't really have the time). Being able to acquire increasing high light level items from strikes and PvP means you'll always be inching towards the level cap.

Yes, it's been live since Tuesday.

Sounds like it will obviously somehow focus on Iron Banner...but un all honesty, I think that it will definitely need to encompass more than that because not everyone participates in Iron Banner (I know that I haven't, and all 3 of my characters are at 40th, with 2 at 305+ light).

The content of this looks really bad again. 1 raid, 1 strike and doesn't mention the missions amount.
Predicting £20 add on :(
It's coming with new maps for PvE and PvP. The new Plaguelands are going to be big enough to have missions, strike, raid and be a patrol zone. On the downside it's going to have a new social area which means more time spent waiting and watching your ship fly aimlessly until everything loads up so you can get your bounties. Hopefully that goes faster because Rise of Iron is only coming out for Xbox1 and PS4 no more legacy consoles.
