These are the restrictions we are confined too.

So I am going to run the following take all comers list.

Scouts
Bolters
Heavy bolter w/Hellfire shells
Dedicated transport

Scouts
Bolters
Heavy bolter w/Hellfire shells

Dreadnaught
2x TL auto cannons

Thunder fire cannon

Land speeder storm
Heavy flamer

The idea is either set up with infiltrate so I can begin hellfire shell bombardment. Anyone who has used these poisoned 2+ small blasts knows why I am using them. If I am up against dark eldar or similarly mobile armies I think I can turtle. Heavy flamers are amazing and 40 points is the shortest points I can get one, except for perhaps one other option. The rifleman dread seems like it might be a weak point. While I love the idea of sticking it in the corner of a 4x4 board, it could easily be replaced with an assault cannon and heavy flamer. On a small board I'm not sure I need the range. Again on the other hand the fireman is going to hit more shots and against av 12 be twice as effective after hits have landed. Both are exactly 120 points.

Thanks for your time.

I always like my anti-armour stuff, but given the 400 Point limit, the two Twin-Linked Autocannons will do just fine. I don't think there's anything that someone will take that those things cant do serious damage to, so I think they're a good choice. And Dreadnoughts are tough, so definitely two for two on that. Other than that, there's some solid anti-infantry in the rest of the list.

I honestly think this is a solid 400 Point list. Good stuff!

At my desk

Isn't there a max armour of 33 all round in Combat Patrol? It's been a while since I've played it, but I was pretty sure that was a rule.

I'm not too sure, but apart from that it looks like a good list, strong in anti-infantry and anti-elite.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

My LGS just lowers AV down to 12 if it is over it.

What do you think about using the assult cannon and a second heavy flamer? It would give me some kind of close combat.
