Hey there DAKKA Nutz, long time reader, very few on the post side. The idea for this list is summon demons, and live longer enough to do it. That's why you see a Big mek Stompa, honestly just a big ol target, and if he brings the pain train then so be it. So I've played 1 game with a list like this before i made the changes to this list and my biggest issue was drop pods and deep strike getting inside my void shield bubble. So i thought why not bubble wrap it with boys, cheep ready to die boys. The plan is 2 weird boys per unit of 15 boys behind the aegis defence line, with a pain boy in each to help mitigate perials wounds. And try to go first if possible and summon like crazy. Hopefully 1 weirdboy will roll a 6 and with 12+ D6 dice i'm pretty sure his butt is becoming a Daemon prince first turn. Lord of change deep striking into fly mode, then doing work on the field with his powers. Also summoning plague bearers and hopefully a herald to Give FNP. So no if turn 1 goes well a Lord of change and a unit of plaguebearers. Now you have daemons and A big mek stompa on the board, who do you shoot at, the weird boys or the in your face death machines i've created. ON the opposite side if i don't go first the bubble wrap should be enough to protect my weird boys until i get a chance to summon, and lets be honest who's going to shoot at a unit with a 2+ cover save from Going to ground where there is a big mek stompa on the table. I am going to play a game with this list this weekend and ill post a battle report. After my trip to LVO in january, and seeing what ork players brought and how they did i want to try and break the mold. make something no one sees coming and really cant do anything about. this may not be it but i t might be a step in the right direction.

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Nice enough list, it will work for what you want to do. Personally I think that summoning a lord of change is a bit of a waste just so that you can summon some plaguebearers.
A friend of mine is building a list very similar to yours, however he isn't taking any fortifications, he is putting the boyz+weirdboyz in trukks and he is putting a mek with a force field on a bike with them. Once he gets to the other side of the board he starts summoning: D-Thirsters, Juggernaughts of Khorne and Bloodletters. Of course most of the weirdboyz will be dead but you will have close to a 500-600pt Daemon army summoned on top of the enemy.
