The way I made the basing was simple but at the same time very time consuming...

- First I painted the base with 2 layers of White.

- Then I applied a layer of Crackle Medium from Vallejo and let it dry.

- Then I heavily watered down the Temple Guard Blue and sort of created a wash which I applied to the base.

- Then I used again white to carefully dry-brush the surface of the base and draw some more strokes.

- Finally I drew the small pieces of "cracked ice" one by one (which was the time consuming part)

- For the colour around the bases I used Incubi Darkness.
