...with one Formation. While I know the Land Raider is expensive (point-wise), Deathwing Knights need to be close to be able to strike. So, I figured a vehicle that would allow them to strike on the same turn they disembark would be a good choice. Any suggestions welcome!

EDIT: I made a fair amount of changes to the list from its original. I took out the Land Raider, but I'm still questioning that decision. While it's possible that some of the Deathwing Knights will survive to fight if they Deep Strike, it's more likely they will survive to fight if they are carried by a Land Raider. Plus, the local meta is fairly Land Raider heavy. Anyway, as mentioned above, suggestions welcome!

Due to +1 toughness and stormshields the knights are pretty resilient and will survive a turn of shooting.

Also, use the ravenwing and take advantage of the no-scatter deepstrike.

If you really want to take a landraider consider putting azrael in it to give it 4++

Combine the two black Knight squads into one command squad, put Sammael with them on his jetbike.

I think a Land Raider could do you more good than an assault squad and devastator squad.

Don't give bikers plasma guns; black Knights do it better for same price. I don't see much other melta so give them melta guns to deal with Imperial Knights, void shields, and those other land raiders in yo meta. Grav guns are also really good.

Dark shroud will end up always jinking so don't upgrade its weapon.

Anyway this is a balanced variety of dark angles which should be interesting and fun to play.
