I'm just curious if there's ANY way to make this rule benefit in any way a model who can take it.

The only heavy weapon I can come up with is a Shokk attack gun. Otherwise all heavy weapons (dakkagun, etc) require other options that grant relentless like mega armor or a bike.

It's just the SAG and one of the random outcomes from the Killdakka relic that benefit from it. If you want a relentless SAG you use a bike and if you want Killdakka you're probably insane. So it's basically 50 points for FNP and EW sadly. Especially now we're limited to one Orkimides Kustom Gubbinz since the update it's most definitely outshone by the Big Bosspole.

It really is just the SAG realistically. It's really tacked on to try and justify its monstrous pricetag even though it does little to nothing for most Ork HQ's. You're really only having it for the EW, the FNP is pretty redundant since your Warboss is more likely than not going to be in a unit with a Painboy anyways. IMO, you're better off just taking the lucky stikk, Ghazghkull is a much safer bet dealing with things that cause instant death, with his possible 2+ invuln. now.

Nah, its pretty pointless. Its not even that common (least to me) for a warboss to even be afraid of being splatted anyway, but 50pts to basically just be immune to ID isnt that great. FNP is pointless since what flippin boss wont have a painboy with him and his boyz and as mentioned before you cant really benefit from the relentless.

The main drawback is that Supa Cybork comes from Ghazzy detachment. This, combined with an unreasonable price tag, makes it's apearance so rare on the table. The only justifiable way to run it was on a greentide warboss. But now the greentide is gone.

An upgrade that grants Eternal Warrior (to 2-3 wound models) and regular, bog standard FNP at the exact same price as a relic that grants Eternal Warrior (to 3-4 wound models) with a friggin' 3++ save is obviously not going to be GOOD.

I was asking if the relentless rule on this piece of garbage was, in fact, TOTALLY unusable and worthless.

Technically, there are also fortification weapons that are heavy. So, you can walk up to them and still shoot full bs.
