If a one model character unit challenges a character in a multi model unit, does the remaining models get to swing at the single model? Or does the challenge negate the ability of the rest of the squad fighting?

If it's a lone model against a blob, the lone model gets swung at by all the attacks, even while in a challenge. I think the rule is called nowhere to run or something.
