I know this isnt amazing, but I spent a good 10 hours practicing with this miniature and I wanted to share it. My brush work has a long way to go but I learned a lot from working on it, so it was definitely worth it. Plus, I like horsies a lot.

I beg to differ, my friend... That is amazing! I think a good gauge of whether something is awesome or not is when you've seen a million versions of something (in this case, a DKoK rider) but still find yourself blurting out/swearing/spitting coffee on the keyboard when you see the millionth + 1.

Great job!

It might not be quite to the standard of your airbrushing, Iechine, but it's still a top drawer paint job. The horse is particularly well done. Minimalist, low-mid contrast schemes suit the Korps well.

He's my first actually, I do have the other four riders but it may be a while before I work on them. It took me months to get around to working on just this one, I doubt I'll ever field a DKoK force.

Thanks, I spent three hours on the horses front right leg and started it over I think 5 times. Each time I got a little closer to what I wanted and finally got 'close enough' and did the rest of the horse, it was the first part of the model I worked on and nearly made me quit.
