Their previous one funded at 25k.
I didn't back it, but the stuff is a kind of terrain construction kit...almost Lego-ish. Here's they're blurb:
A modular terrain system used to build custom fantasy style gothic, dwarven, elvish, etc... tabletop rpg / war game boards & buildings.
In this campain we will be introducing our second phase of the core construction system as well as expanding our range of parts in the system overall. I have added a rapid prototype 3D printer to our arsenal, the new parts are grey making it easier to see what parts are new. Keep in mind that this 3D printer resolution is not as good as the final parts will be, so just like the first Kickstarter we will be adding stone and wood texture to the new parts when we make production molds.
If we get a large enough response we will be transitioning as many parts as possible to injection molding, depending of course on how much we capitol we have available to invest for the molds.

Too expensive and too many pieces for my liking.
Nice renders though.

If I wanted that many pieces, I'll invest in some Hirst Arts molds and dental plaster.

I don't really understand this stuff. It's supposed to be Lego-like, in a way? You can put it together and pull it apart. And it will stand up to rigorous building and rebuilding? And you paint it? And the paint job will hold up to constant pulling apart and rebuilding?

With that many pieces, it looks to be as much work as scratch-building it myself... no thanks.

Hey RivenSkull, great point I totally understand where your coming from. You could use hirst molds and yes, it would be cheaper, but much more labor intensive because with hirst molds you have to cast, clean and fit every individual part, then glue it together, paint it and when your done, your left with a one-off that can never change. This defeats the whole purpose of having parts that can be assembled in different combinations. Lego kits come with more parts than ours do, but I don't generally hear people complaining about how many parts there are. Hey Fugazi we have talked to others that have had the same concerns. One of the things that can be misleading is that you have to disassemble every part everytime you build a model. Actually many of the parts are left assembled and just repositioned and our painted parts hold up fine as long as they are sealed after they are painted. Most of our backers are return customers from the previous kickstarter that already own the product and have been very pleased with it.
