Starting a new Seraphon/Lizardmen army, and I'd like to be able to use it in both 8th Edition and AoS, so I would like to base them with square bases. I looked in the sticky thread, but there hasn't been an update for base websites in a couple of years now. I would prefer bases that look like the ones that were made (some still are made) by Citadel/GW and made of plastic. Can anyone recommend any good sites for GW/Citadel-type plastic square bases for my Seraphon/Lizardmen army?

Thanks in advance

Would it be worth having a search on eBay? I know I have a literal bucket of the old square bases that I managed to obtain during my period of flirtation with Fantasy, and given that kits are being re-released with round bases, I imagine there's a market for people with spare square bases to sell them on eBay? Hopefully not at prohibitive prices...

I've searched eBay, and there are some excellent looking square bases that I believe are 3D printed. They are very cheap (like $10 for 50), but they come from Hong Kong. And, the delivery date is anywhere from mid/late April to early/mid May. I'd really rather not have to wait possibly up to almost two months to get square bases.

There are a few listings that have 5 or 10 square bases from a kit here and there. But, they can't be bought en masse.

All that said, I did spend a fair amount of time on eBay looking for bases. I'll probably look more there.

Thanks

SG

GW still makes a lot of square bases in their Painting And Modelling Section, and they're not that expensive either (something like 6 bucks for a crapton of bases). The only ones phased out seems to be the Slotta bases, but that seems to be across the board rather than be just the square ones.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

GW bases aren't exactly what I'd call cheap. $4.50 for ten 25mm or 20mm bases. It makes a box of 20 Saurus warriors go from $38 to $47.

A few years back they used to be really cheap because you'd get a decent sized bag of bases.

How about proxie models here in the US?

His stuff is not the exact style GW uses, but the prices are great. 32x 25mm bases for 4.50.

I have never bought from this place, but they have pretty cheap slotta bases in 20 and 25mm if that's what you're after....
