Very new to the scene and want to put a name to this guy. logo on chest says SM all over it but I'm doubting myself now

I think he is already named as Turmiel. You can always re-christen him though. The logo on the chest is the dark angels symbol.

It's not Turmiel from DV, this looks like finecast.

It's definitely Turmiel. They never released a Finecast Librarian that looked like that. The reason the material looks like resin is because the model is either painted or stripped (notice the little splotch of black on the bottom of the shoulderpad with the raised arm)
