Hi DakkaDakka

We know that SPACE marines are sealed within their armor and are able to fight in space, but what about the eldar ?
Can the humble guardian fight in a 0G vaccum ? Does the Phantom Titan can ? Wraith knight are machines, it would pose no problem i believe ?

Thank you

Wraith units of all descriptions are capable of void warfare, and I imagine Warp Spiders have little trouble with vacuums.

I believe other infantry units would require additional equipment to do so, although for the most part, they'll be using Nightwings and Vampires.

Aspect warriors have fully sealed armour like space marines while guardians don't. They've got some environmental protection but they can't handle the void.

I'm basing this on the 2nd edition rules for which troops are affected by toxin and virus grenades and extrapolating from there.

Can't vypers and falcons fight in space or was that earlier fluff?

Wouldn't surprise me if falcons can do it because they have a top speed of like 800 kmh, anti-grav systems and are fully sealed. They just might not be specifically designed to do so.

The vyper is less likely because of the exposed gunner.

Hmm, well the Legion of the Damned destroyed Craftworld Idharae by shooting out the dome and causing everybody to get sucked into space, which was then a SM victory.

avoiding the lorax on Crion

Land raiders, thubderhawk etc are all void capable too.

Plus power armour is.
Guard/Navy in fluff have void suits.
Admech are. Well robots...
Sisters, power armour
Traitors/chaos marines. Same as the loyalist
Necron . durrrr
Tau have battlesuits

Lots are void capable

I'd assume eldar armour can be fully sealed and locked with o2 supply etc. Wraiths, Durr. Titans and tanks ID guess can be sealed and locked. There eldar and can fly....
I'm sure there not short on void option.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

From the 40k wiki: "The Doom Of Idharae (852.M41) - The Legion of the Damned come to the aid of the Invaders Chapter as they wage a devastating attack upon the Eldar Craftworld Idharae. When their flaming bolts do little harm to the raging Eldar Avatar at the heart of the battle, the Legion instead blows out the great dome under which they fight. They vanish once more as the Eldar defenders and the single surviving member of the Invaders force left fighting there are blasted out into the void. Idharae is left as a ruined and desolate hulk."

100% correct.

In addition, all the Falcon-bodied tanks and larger are space-flight capable.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.
