I've posted a
40k skirmish campaign guidebook we've used in
my club for several events:
Legacies.

Relevant to this forum, the campaign has been designed to work as a
narrative tournament, and we have successfully used it as such. Obviously it's not a standard tournament: There are teams, people play different missions from each other, some of them are asymmetric, it all ends in a mini-Apocalypse, etc. etc.. But there is a reasonable suggested mechanism for scoring and awarding individual prizes. For groups interested in skirmish play, it strikes a good balance between having a lot of narrative and theme for the fluffy and casual players, while also having objective results and rankings for the slightly more competitive players.
I would be excited to answer any questions or hear any comments or thoughts. We will also be using the eight themed missions at the core of the campaign as the scenarios and objectives for the
40k Narrative Recon Squad track at this year's
NOVA Open.
Thx!
