Hello everyone!
I was digging through some of my collection the other day and found a daemon prince (the plastic one) who, unfortunately, had been twice undercoated, losing all of his detail and becoming practically useless.
I am currently on a mission to improve my green stuff skills, so why not put the two together and try and make something?
What could possibly go wrong?

I'm unsure on quite a few things, first of all I'm wondering how easy it would be to add some guts falling out, as I really enjoy this on Nurgle models.
Secondly I'd like some opinions on his outer bits, I'm undecided on whether it should be a robe or flab at the moment.

Without further ado, here is the big chap!

Here is the first stage of his green stuffery

With a little bit of texturing

Added some spikes because chaos

And how he currently sits, added some superglue to be drippy bits, and brushed some green stuff on him for texture

Love to know what you all think, changes to be made, colour schemes etc!

reminds me of a huge version of Throt the Unclean. Great job so far, but his face might be a problem.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Thanks for the the input, funnily enough, Throt was the 3rd model I ever bought!
Just wondering why you think the face could be a problem and can you give any tips on how to improve it?

I've got a tip for you; after you have finished working on gs, get a brush loaded with clean water, and go over the model with mild pressure to smooth out the thumb prints. That'll give you a much better finish.

You can't do it once it's cured, you need to do it after you've finished working on it. Once it's cured you will need to shave or file, or go over it with another layer of gs.
