New 40k player here. I bought my first models many years ago but only got into the hobby properly recently. I started by buying the Betrayal at Calth game and am using most of the models to start an Imperial Fist army. I also bought the Necron starter box because I always fancied Tomb Kings if I got into WF and they're now the nearest thing! For my IF army I've since bought a box of devastators and a rhino (well, razorback actually but to build the rhino) and for my Necrons some Tomb Blades.

I've also been reading through some of the Black Library novels to get up to speed on lore before getting much further. I've read the first three HH novels and first Eisenhorn novel so far. Currently reading Daemon World.

I'm fifty years old and still like listening to The Clash turned up on my turntable. I also like art. I have one eleven year old daughter who plays Pokemon and is a manga/Anime buff. I've still not decided what I want to be when I grow up!

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
