Hey guys, I'm a Tau playing coming back to 40k after a few years off and looking to Dust off my tau army and have a quick question. On the farsight FAQ it states the signature systems can only be taken 1 per detachment instead of an army, is this also the case for the base tau empire?

that FAQ is obsolete it s was for the 6ed supplement but has now been replaced with a new book.

Ah ok fair enough and just to confirm as it says per army in both the books I can't, for example take 2 buff commanders with duplicate sig systems by taking 2 COA detachments?

All systems are per army not formation or CAD. The cool thing now is FS can use both books for systems
