Subject: Oxford versus Cambridge University boat races 2016
Cambridge women nearly sank. The modern boats have bilge pumps but it couldn't keep up with the amount of water coming over the saxboard and eventually the exhaust was under water. The modern boats have sealed flotation chambers, though, and this kept the boat just about buoyant though practically level with the water. They were still able to move the boat. For safety's sake the umpire asked if they wanted to be recovered, in fact they went on to finish and record a time, but obviously Oxford's margin was huge.
Cambridge men beat Oxford by about two and half lengths. Oxford kept in touch throughout the race but you could see in the last mile their stroke was trying to push the rating up and the rest of the crew weren't keeping proper time. If they could have got the timing right, I think the result would have been closer.
Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.
FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
