So we're going to be playing some low points games for new players (including myself) to get acquainted with the game. I'm going to bring the Nomads starter from Operation: Icestorm because it's really all I have that I can put on the table right now.

Open with Army 5

I needed somewhere to put my list so I didn't forget it between now and then

It is human nature to seek culpability in a time of tragedy. It is a sign of strength to cry out against fate, rather than to bow one's head and succumb.

Army 5 allows you to save as a PDF, or print. That said, personally, I like printing the list, since it is so much easier to refer to that way.

Good luck with the game.

Welp. Played my first game with this list. I had a lot of fun. I was doing really well until Van Zant happened and I lost my Grenz, Zero and 3 Alguaciles in one reactive turn. I think I'm going to change the list up a little bit and run the Mobile Brigada as the Lieutenant profile with the MR+LF, Grenzer as the ML profile and the Zero as the Minelayer profile with 3 barebones Alguaciles. I'd like to give the Reverend Healer a MULTI Rifle as well but points don't allow if I want to keep the same number of orders.

If you think your opponent will run Van Zant, then have someone watching your backline. Preferably 2, with flamers.

Or a TR remote.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Sound advice. Nasty piece of work that Van Zant is. Nanopulser stopped him dead in his tracks though. He tried to dodge out of and back into total cover and blast my Reverend Healer with his fancy heavy pistol but she fried him with the 'pulser and it was game over for our dear old friend Roger. Flamethrower just as good or better since it destroys camo too.

I've been looking at turning this list into a Corregidor list with the Grenzer being an Intruder with MSR (much better) and the Zero being a Bandit with LSG and ADHL (also better). My Zero has a combi but I don't think it really matters that much and the LSG is roughly as good plus the ADHL actually gives him a chance to use his MA L2, DA CCW and scavenge. And the Rev Healer would be downgraded to a Daktari. Same three Alguaciles but in a link team. Same number of orders but the link makes up for the one Irregular order from the Bandit (who'll probably need to be using it every active turn anyway). One thing that bothers me is trading the tanky, toolbox Reverend for model that can pretty much only doctor and nothing else. She's faster though and with no room for zonds, that matters.
