Does anyone happen to know how much a squad of 10 Kasrkin is? Looked all over and every price is different by quite a lot, if anyone could tell me their price that would be much appreciated, thanks

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong area to post.

Gathering the Informations.

Is or was? They aren't sold anymore(hence the price differences) and they did not have rules outside of the Eye of Terror book.

The boxed set of 10(7 Hellguns, Flamer, Grenade Launcher, and Sergeant with Hellpistol/Power Sword) was $35 US, $7 for the Kasrkin Sergeant, and $9 for the Cadian Kasrkin with Special Weapons(Plasma Gun/Meltagun) when it was released in October of 2003.

Pulled those prices right out of the White Dwarf, number 285.

((Edit )) I was wrong: Actually kasrkin were always "Imperial Guard Storm Troopers.." these have been effectively renamed " Astra Militarum Tempests Scions" which still go by the title "Storm Trooper"

Not true. Eye of Terror actually had a unit entry called "Kasrkin" in the Cadian Shock Troops list.

you sure?

Their training is more than a match for that provided to the elite Imperial Storm Troopers (Kasrkin are the Cadian equivalent of the Storm Troopers)

Yes. Kastkin were a thing. They wetr basically STs without DS or Infiltrate. Kasrkin (if I remember right) were supposed to be more of a heavy infantry/grenadier type of Gaurdsmen.

I have Codex: Eye of Terror sitting next to me. Yeah, they were a thing.

Kasrkin Squads were Troop choices in a Cadian Shock Troop army. A squad consisted of between 4 to 9 Kasrkin and a Kasrkin Veteran Sergeant. They had Hellguns, Krak and Frag Grenades with the option for the Veteran Sergeant to replace his Hellgun with Hellpistol and Close Combat weapon.
Two models could take special weapons at the appropriate points costs and they could be given Melta Bombs at the same. One model could be upgraded to a Vox Operator with a Comm-Link. The Veteran Sergeant had access to the Imperial Guard Armory and the squad could be mounted in a Chimera.

You could take 0-3 Kasrkin Squads as Troops, and a number of them as Elites choices(which told you specifically to utilize the Stormtrooper entry in Codex: Imperial Guard). It went on to say this:

Codex: Eye of Terror page 37 wrote:KASRKIN. Cadia maintains several military academies based on the model set by the Schola Progenium. Exceptional individuals are trained at these establishments to Imperial Stormtrooper standards as Kasrkin(pronounced Kas-er-kin). Kasrkin squads are allocated to shock troop companies to provide an extra cutting edge in battle. See the army list summary and list entry for more details.
