I'm having a terrible time trying to find out what will work for a wet pallette , as parchment paper I believe is a non uk term for baking paper or whatever lol , its a bit confusing...

Anyway I've seemed to have narrowed it down to these products :

http://www.dunelm.com/product/baco-baking-parchment-1000022839?searchRedirect=true&searchTerm=parchment%20paper

Or

http://m.therange.co.uk/parchment-paper-white---25-sheet-pack//the-range/fcp-product/120219

The former came up when I typed parchment paper. I've tried the same on asda/morrisons sites but to no avail just baking paper and ive been reading that it must be the correct type for it to keep the paint wet/paper not bobble.

So if anyone can tell me if they have used any of these / they will work for a wet pallette ; or a product they have used I would be very thankful.

Cheers

I'm using the parchment paper from the grocery store (for baking). Don't use wax paper.

Have a look at The Works.
Wet palette paper is not coated or waterproof like baking paper, no. it's just strong paper.

Had a look at the works pallette paper it says its waxed , I believe the paper I need doesnt need to be waxed as it has to absorb some water

Bought the item in the first link and when I got home it was brown baking paper. Gave it a try and the paper just bobbled :(
Any I found and bought this since and it is fantastic !

so for future reference for everyone searching for the same as me , use the frisk refill paper

I highly recommend it , plus the sheets when cut up to fit your container will probably last you years has this paper is washable/reusable.

Hm, good tip. I use the Daler Rowney Stay Wet palette but it's a bit huge and unwieldy. Quite like the size of that Frisk one.

I just use baking paper (with some kitchen roll underneath).

If you can wash those sheets tho that think I'll be a winner in the long run
