There are enough other games they produce... Seems weird to limit it to KoW only? Whats the reasoning behind the change?

Kow is by /far/ their most popular game, especially after GW removed WHFB and a lot of players migrated to KoW, including major tournaments.

Oh, absolutely. But with Deadzone V2 and Warpath being released shortly, it seems like a weird decision, especially for games that are based in the same universe, and would use the same models (stuff like dungeon saga for KoW, or Dreadball for Warpath). Id have gone for something like "Kings of War and other Mantic games"... Plus, it allows for general discussion of the company, wheras the new split would leave general, non-game-specific discussions in limbo... :/

I think that Legoburner would be open to changes once there's enough support for it. It's possible for the other games to catch up, but as of now, they are very far apart of each other.

True. Well see how it goes once Deadzone is released, I suppose.

With our new reorganization, we've moved away from manufacturer-based forums. So the way it works now, a game either has a clearly marked forum or if it doesn't have one, then you know it falls into one of the 'misc' forums. If we left Mantic as an exception to this, then I think it would be more confusing than helpful, as for example, people new to Dakka might get confused as to exactly why Deadzone or Dreadball isn't in the Misc. Sci-Fi Games forum (where every other Sci-Fi game that doesn't have a named forum now is).

Of course if another game from Mantic picks up the same kind of steam that KoW has recently, we would definitely add a dedicated forum for that game as well.
