I've been playing the PC 40K games for years, started reading the novels last year, and finally took the plunge into the tabletop. I'm hoping to find army advice and people in my area to play with. I live in the Kansas City area, but a little to the south. Willing to travel though.
I hope to take much knowledge from you fine people.

Hi, welcome to Dakka!
I live in Columbia, MO, which is about 2 hours east of KC. My FLGS, Valhalla's Gate, has tournaments almost every month for 40k (next one is on the 16th of April).

I'm afraid it is a bit too low, as our tournaments are almost always 1850 point lists.
