Honestly this one is not exciting me very much.
Neither Khan, Reliant, and Joachim can hold a candle to their other versions.
Khan isn't bad, but I don't see Cryo Stasis being used much and that is about what he is. He doesn't do anything about the slots so all he does is save you a point or two, remember the upgrade can't me more than 6 points to begin with and like Kirk, even if the card is less you have to pay 4 points for the benefit of playing it face down. For my money Khan 8 paying no faction penalties and turning hits to crits is way better.
Joachim is a waste of points. 5 points to for a discard and an Action to get +3 captain skill and turn 1 hit to a crit. There are cheaper ways to get a one turn boost to captain skill and better ways over all to get a game long boost (admirals, Romulan Security Officers, etc).
The ship is meh at best. It only has attacks if you use the ability you leave yourself vulnerable on a 3 hull ship. It only has 3 shields to begin with, it is an Independent ship so that leaves out all of the Fed shield upgrades. If you are looking at an Indy ship in that point range than Kumari, S'Gorn, and Gornarus are better options. Strangely enough this ship is near useless in the scenario it is from. In the nebula, both the
OP and retail version, all shields are down.
All Power to Phasers sounds nice but leaves you vunerable and you won't be able to use it with the ship ability very well because both require disabling shields. As the article points out it is in true Khan fashion
FIRE! Isn't bad, but for the cost of an Aux token you have to know when to play this one. 6 points is steap, you can use it with Khan, but you sacrifice the better Khan to save a point or two, so that varies list to list.
The shining star of this pack is Ceti Eel

Making your opponent attack themselves or messing with their captain is pretty awesome.
FIRE! and All Power to Phasers could be fun on the Krenim Timeship and Ceti Eels is just fun, however I see Khan, Joachim, and Indy Reliant staying in the box.
