after playing WH Fantasy for a longer period years ago I wanted to get back into the hobby with WH40k after a long break. I have never played WH40k before but followed it here and there.

Generally I am looking to build up an Imperial Guard/Skitarii force which can perfom well on tournaments (within the limits of being Imperial Guard and not Eldar, so I don't expect to win or such) with a strong focus on mechanized units and tanks. After playing with the setup for a while now I came up with the below list and was hoping to get some feedback from a few more experienced players whether that composition makes any sense and where I could improve the list.

My main "concerns" are:
* Do I need two Wyverns or would one be sufficient? Or could/should I replace both Wyverns with an Eradicator to follow the tank approach?
* How about the single Ironstrider? Less the walker and less one wyvern that would again be another Leman Russ?! On the other side the Cognis-Autocannon seems worth the points.
* Loadout of the Skitarii-Infantery, I am a bit lost there if that makes sense so far

Any feedback to get the list closer to a tournament-level is much appreciated, but if possible I'd like to keep the spirit of the army, i.e. I'd rather place a bit further behind than ever run a blob of 60 Infantery with a priest.

I would appreciate really any quick comment or pointer, but I'd be quite devastated if I'd now keep painting models with this army list in mind just to realize this is completely going in the wrong direction :/

I would lose the ironstrider for another wyvern they're amazing, do two 5 man skitarii vanguard and do like a 2 strong and a 1 stroke dragoon squad

I mainly play war convocation so I know all about skitarii but Astra militarum I don't know as much about. But a wyvern is much better then a single ironstrider
