Ok - so a friend has a space wolf list of the following models. He's getting married soon and it's our surprise present for him and we are all chipping in to buy and paint up some models for him. A joke among us requires us to have wulfen in there, and he likes to play fluffy so a big emphasis on that.

Total is 2257: That's basically what he's got. Drop the last 2 iitems for a 2k list. #


Budget is pretty good. He's the club founder and sacrifices loads so we want to give him a good thing and we have some awesome painters who are itching to "polish turds" with wulfen.

So, the feel good factor challenge is what wil give this guys army a bit more kick.

edit: in case it wasnt clear, we are getting wulfen for him (1 box definitely, suggest if 2 good!), hence the lack of wulfen in the above.

Like the idea of the space wolf dreads, the transport plane, more wulfen etc.

Since you mentioned the Wulfen already I'll mention them last.

If he likes fluffy get him Bjørn. I would also "convert" an Iron priest onto TWC. I would also get a Storm Wolf. Depends how much you all like him but if you are up for it those'd be good.

Also maybe a drop pod or 3.

Wulfen: they should probably be modelled to be in squads of 5. All with sheilds and 2 with hammers then the pack leader with claws. Also a grenade launcher or 2.

Yeah, the StormWolf is great - so is Bjorn. I pod in him in via the forgeworld dreadnought pod tho.

You're gunna need something other than servitors to fill a CotGW elites slots if you're using Iron Priests in that HQ tho.

There's many things you will want as a space wolves player, but from the list here he's well on his way, with many models he can convert over as he wants to.
