Subject: Steamforged Games announces Dark Souls board game
Well, after unveiling last week that it was working on a videogame tie-in, Guild Ball creator Steamforged Games has announced it's agreed a deal with Bandai Namco to produce a Dark Souls board game. Here's the announcement:
"Steamforged Games is proud to announce we will be working with Bandai Namco Entertainment, developing an exciting board game for the Dark Souls universe. As Dark Souls fans, we could not be more excited to be given the honour of developing a board game that embraces everything that makes Dark Souls the deep, compelling game experience that it is.
"The Dark Souls board game will be launched on Kickstarter during April 2016."
Well, we must admit that we certainly didn't see that coming and with Dark Souls III due to launch on 12th April, the timing couldn't really be better. We'll be keeping a close eye on the Kickstarter campaign.

Subject: Steamforged Games announces Dark Souls board game
I'm excited to see what Steamforged will do, especially since we've already got a game on the market that does a pretty good job of capturing Dark Souls' essence (Kingdom Death).
