So we've all probably seen GW's left handed paintbrush, Porn Hub was Corn Hub for a little while, I rigged up an intricate tripwire system to send some metal dustbin lids to come crashing down around my tenant as he opened the garage and I stopped myself from putting a Bailiff's notice and changing the locks on another tenant's property as I thought it could be a step too far.
So what's out there on the internet, did you get fooled, were your nefarious plans foiled, are you still in the pub drinking after your girlfriend told you that she was pregnant?
Tell us what's the worst you've ever been got and give us all a little inspiration for next year

Google disables April fool joke amid user fury after prank backfires
Gmail Mic Drop caused more tears than laughter, thanks to users accidentally enabling the prank on serious emails – with some dire consequences.

Google’s April Fools’ Day prank has backfired, leaving the company looking the fool and a number of concerned users fearing for their jobs – or worse.
As 1 April began in Australia, the company announced its latest stunt: “Gmail Mic Drop”, a special version of the send button which appends a gif of a minion (one of the sexless, ageless merchandising icons from the Despicable Me series) dressed as the queen dropping a microphone to the end of your email.
“Everyone will get your message, but that’s the last you’ll ever hear about it,” Google added in a blogpost announcing the feature. “Yes, even if folks try to respond, you won’t see it.”
For most companies, that would be the end of it, but Google has a longstanding tradition of actually building the products they “announce” on April Fools’ Day, even if they only survive for 24 hours.
Unfortunately, the way the company decided to implement the Mic Drop feature was by simply placing the button on every user’s compose window, making it easy enough to hit accidentally. Web developer Andy Baio quickly started cataloguing some of the users who had been undone by the change.
One, who posted on the company’s Gmail help forum, wrote: “Thanks to Mic Drop I just lost my job. I am a writer and had a deadline to meet. I sent my articles to my boss and never heard back from her. I inadvertently sent the email using the ‘Mic Drop’ send button. There were corrections that needed to be made on my articles and I never received her replies. My boss took offence to the Mic Drop animation and assumed that I didn’t reply to her because I thought her input was petty (hence the Mic Drop). I just woke up to a very angry voicemail from her which is how I found out about this ‘hilarious’ prank.”
Similar concerns abounded on the help forums. “April fools jokes are great fun but not when they affect my business correspondence,” wrote one user. Another said “I sent out an important email to 30 recipients and I inadvertently clicked the ‘Mic Drop’ Send. I completely did not mean to, and I realised what had happened after the fact. I tried to resend it without that, but it was too late. Is there any way I can undo my mic drop feature?”
A third wrote “Unfortunately some of my very intelligent friends are senior engineers in Google. I almost picked up the phone and shouted at them because of this stupid creation made me sound so rude to one important customer when I made a mistake to click this stupid button.”
As a result of the complaints, Google announced it had turned off the feature. The company told the Guardian: “Well, it looks like we pranked ourselves this year.

I plugged a reciever into a colleague's computer and spent the morning using my wireless mouse to occasionally randomly scroll the page down a bit, and move the mouse in the opposite direction if he was moving towards a text box to confuse him.
Not gonna cut&paste this one because there are so many pictures but it's good for a laugh. You know those photo exposes that news magazines sometimes do?
I will begin this story by telling you that I ship grain by railcar, and the timing of the arrival of cars is always a large source of stress in this business due to deadlines, etc.
Anyways, I arrive at work one morning during a particularly stressful time of the year to see my boss' boss(who is super high strung at the best of times) had come out from his office to the facility and was frantically moving about, throwing his hands up in the air periodically and muttering profanity.
I asked what was up, He exclaimed "We've never in ten years not had the grain to load a train! Logistics said the train will be here in an hour!" I thought this was odd myself, as I wasn't expecting a train for days yet, and was planning on having a few more days for grain to be delivered, and today was supposed to be the day a crew came and repaired our rail.
So, everyone gets in a panic and we cancel the rail crew, start running around frantically readying ourselves to load the grain we had, and midway through this my boss gets a text from logistics that says only one thing: "April Fools!"
I have never to this day seen a man so angry. A stream of expletives flowed out of his mouth so quickly and frequently you could almost visibly see them coming out. His face turned bright red and he began walking in circles throwing his hands in the air. "THAT'S NOT GOOD! "THAT'S NOT COOL AT ALL!" He exclaims as he looks around the room for a way to vent his frustration. I was honestly scared for the man's heart, his blood pressure must have been through the roof at that moment, and he had been here for a half an hour before we arrived at work, stressing out about this.
Meanwhile, the rest of the facility staff and myself were trying our hardest not to laugh for fear of retaliation. He was still streaming expletives from his mouth as he walked out the door and spun his tires on his way to give logistics a piece of his mind. I almost felt bad for him in spite of the humour of the situation, high strung people are almost a way too easy target for pranks of this nature.

I got punked by my preferred anime stream location, which posted a number of very anticipated shows, like second seasons for Attack of Titian, Highschool of the Dead, and No Game No Life. In reality the sites operated posted a series of random "wtf" videos.
For those who haven't found out yet;
^ personally I thought pornhub the clear winner of April Fools 2016, until I saw that bit about google above. That's pretty freaking funny.
One had all the questions and exam booklets laid out. The class realized what was going on (since we had actually read our syllibi), and one guy tears the question book in half and throws it out the door. The prof tells him he'd want it, since it is actually the book with the essay questions for the real final.
The other turns up in class and announces that "Those ers at the deans office have been bothering me. Apparently no-ones done the course evaluations, and they've been giving me an earful. Also, they say I have to schedule a final exam, so that's next Friday". The class freaked over this one.
