I prefer to mix it up in close combat over running straight gunlines. It's not that I'm averse to shooting. I just like playing aggressive and packing some punch in hand-to-hand.

How viable are Skitarii and/or Cult Mechanicus in close combat? I just read through the Cult Mechanicus codex and it seems the Cataphract Breachers and Electro-Priests can be fun but I don't know how effective they would be en masse. Haven't had a chance to read through the Skitarii book so I'm not sure if game time trials bear them out as a solid option for CC play at all. Thoughts? For some background on my playstyle, I enjoy running Harlequins, Slaanesh Daemons, Aspect Warrior Eldar lists featuring Howling Banshees, close combat oriented Tyranids and Space Wolves.
