I saw a picture of a "choir of menoth" and thought they'd be perfect converted into imperial priests or psykers, do the models look good next to 40k or is the scaling slightly different?

They are not heroic scale, So they are much more slender and realisticaly proportioned then 40k models

40k is 28mm 'Heroic', which gives human/humanoid models oversized heads/hands/weapons.
Warmachine models are a bit of a mix. Some appear to use 'heroic' scaling (seriously look at the size of the mitts on some of those guys), while some use more realistic proportions.
They're scaled slightly larger than 40k, at around 32mm (seems a bit inconsistent, but then again so is 40k).
However the oversized parts on 40k models kinda balance it out.
Warjacks have really weird proportions.

Most warmachine swords are thicker than spacemarine legs.
