Hi guys,

Looking to purchase a heldrake, but the costs are fairly prohibitive. I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience in using the Ral Partha Cyborg Dragon: http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/dragons-c-60/10370-cyborg-dragon-p-2491.html

Any/all other suggestions welcome.

Cheers

While it's hard to say from just a picture without any comparison, that looks considerably smaller than a Heldrake.

Going by the grass on the base, I'd guess that's about a 40mm base. That would make this guy about the height of a Centurion, even lifted on its tail.

No matter what 3rd part model you get, you'll need a large oval base and a flight stand to mount it on. Unless you already happen to have one, they charge stupid rates for those alone if you need to get them, making any 3rd party jump to at least the price of a real Heldrake off of ebay :/
