Hello once again, I've decided on starting a side project for a necron army, hoping to finish it by mid year. I'm aiming for this list to be used competitively. Any C&C is appreciated

Decurion Detachment
Reclamation Legion 820
Nemesor Zahndrekh

5x immortals
gauss blasters

5x immortals
gauss blasters

5x Tomb Blades
shield vanes
nebuloscopes
TL gauss blasters

10x Warriors

20x Warriors

Destroyer Cult 615
Destroyer Lord
phase shifter
warscythe

3x destroyers

3x destroyers

3x destroyers

2x heavy destroyers

Judicator Battalion 415
5x Triarch Praetorian
rod of covenant

5x Triarch Praetorian
voidblade and particle caster

Triarch Stalker
TL heavy gauss cannon

Mostly a footslogging army. Destroyer lord and Zahndrekh will go with the 20 man warrior blob.
Stalkers will run in the middle, keeping as many models in range for the +1BS (mainly the 20 man squad and destroyers).
Praetorians roam around as disruption units.

Why not add the Dlord to the RoC Triarch squad, they are good in CC and equally mobile.

As the immortals are not terribly likely to get in rapid fire range, you might try tesla, but that's iffy.

Another concern is your HQ in a 20 man warrior blob, if they get swept (a very real risk at that size) it doesn't matter how cool the Nemesor is.

Final concern is that the praetorians in min units will get shot off the board relatively easily, and your plan to play them forward makes that especially likely. Adding a D-Lord with a res orb will help stiffen them up, but you need more bodies in those units.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

That's actually a reason to take Nemesor... to prevent a 20man blob from being swept. He starts with a warlord trait that gives him Zealot (which is basicly like fearless), and then he can take the warlord trait that gives him fearless later in the game if he needs to.

I do agree that you should be aggressive with your destroyer lord. Throw him in with a Praetorian unit. The leading Praetorian can move 12" while the rest snake back to the slower D-Lord who only moves 6". Then in the assault phase he can move 2d6" to get him closer to the front again. You can repeat this for 2 to 3 turns without losing any speed. By then you're in assault.

Looks like a good list, but don't run a Triarch stalker by itself! They are good but quite fragile, they will often give up first blood, and when they are dead, your gunline is significantly less scary. I'd recommend running a squadron of two (drop a unit of immortals and 5 warriors from the big blob to get the points).

I've made some small changes. In regards to the original list, I've dropped the 20 warriors to 15, the 5 immortals and the 2 heavy destroyers. That gets me an additional triarch stalker, and 2 addition praetorians in each squad, making them 7 men each. What are the thoughts on this change?

That sounds good, but you mit want to drop the tl heavy gauss cannons on the stalkers since they will be moving up with the infantry and not hanging back with the heavy destroyers. You could use that to buy a phylactery for your destroyer lord or another warrior and still have 10 points for some mindshackle scarabs (useless but you have the points) or particle shredders on the stalkers if you are facing a horde list.

If i drop the tl heavy gauss cannons, i can add a 6th tomb blade and make them 2x3 squads as well

Was just going to say emlarge your praetorian squads. Then I read your comments. A good move. 7/8 is the sweet spot I have found for praetorians. I always run 3 units of 3 tomb blades so I would say 2 units of 3 is a minimum. Tomb Blades win games. If you can take jetbikes in your codex you always should.
