I love tournaments as much as the next bloke, but sometimes it's nice to embrace the fluff of the game and play something other than "kill all the bad guys".

With the recent release of the Horus Heresy: Retribution book my friend and I decided to try out the Shadow War campaign. The first campaign we played is only 200 points but I had a blast and wrote a narrative battle report. I will be playing these (hopefully every week) and will update this post for those enjoy these types of reports.

If you have played the Shadow War campaign please share with me your experiences or battle reports too. Thanks!
